to present to you our vision for a peaceful world. |
Our non-profit organisation in Spain, Asociación Bernadette Strebel World Peace (ABSWP), which is also registered officially in Switzerland since August 2010, has been founded by Bernadette Strebel (Switzerland) in the year 2006 as a further development of the also official recognized Africa Initiative for World Peace (AIFWP), which has been set up by her in October 2000 in Nigeria.
We are convinced that the strengthening of the livelihood of underprivileged humans is a basic component in achieving our vision. Therefore we have launched a variety of sustainable projects dedicated to the motto of Help for Self-Reliance, together with the initially mentioned „Africa Initiative for World Peace“ and the local people, as well as in collaboration with the Government.
Trees for Peace: we promote with regard to the earth the material means of livelihood, generate new jobs and care for food.
Peace-Academy: the access to knowledge for lesser privileged children will be enabled.
Women's refuge / Women Light Home: banished women and their children will be given shelter and protection.
Peace-OM-Temple: practicing of interreligious tolerance for advancement of peace between all religions and forms of believe.
Peace-Meditations: we influence on a spiritual level and lead the constructive dialogue between different life-concepts and faiths.
